GP Practices
For medical advice, treatment or prescriptions, you can contact your GP practice. Your local GP practice can give you more information about which services they offer and how you can access them.
GP practices are busy. Information about illnesses, self-help guides, care & support and many other resources is available at www.nhsinform.scot(external link). If you have a minor illness, please think about whether you can manage it yourself with guidance from NHS Inform or visit your local pharmacist first.

If you wish to register at a local GP Practice, you can do so in advance by completing the form found on NHS Inform's Registering with a GP Practice page. Take the completed form to your local Health Centre.
