Bruce McCulloch joined NHS Shetland several years ago from NHS Grampian where he was the Principal Podiatrist for Musculoskeletal Services.
Bruce has a strong academic background and graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2002 with a First Class Honours Degree and completed his Masters there three years later.
Bruce has always been passionate about Staff Governance and joined Area Partnership Forum as a Staff-side Representative for Unison. During June 2022 he was voted on to the Board as Employee Director and Chair of Area Partnership Forum - a role which he is dedicated to representing the views of staff.
Having undertaken several roles within NHS Shetland including Specialist Podiatrist, Bruce moved into the role of an Improvement Advisor after completing a post-graduate programme with the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. He continues to teach Improvement Methodology across the Shetland Partnership while filling the rest of his week in his own Podiatry Clinic.
